Ingredients 1 lb fresh green beans, washed and trimmed 1 yellow onion finely minced 2 to 3 cloves of fresh garlic, minced 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted or not salt and pepper to taste 1 + tbsp. olive oil Directions: Saute the onion in the olive oil for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the garlic at the end and cook an additional 3 minutes. Steam the grean beans for about 6 to 13 minutes or to your liking.
